'Animals as Therapy' comes to Fred Beans Subaru this Friday, Dec. 12
Meet the animals with the talent and temperament to make a difference to people in need.
In honor of our hometown charity, The Nexus School, which is devoted to educating children within the autism spectrum, Fred Beans Subaru is hosting an evening of “Animals as Therapy” on Friday, December 12, from 5pm until 7pm, featuring the patient and loving “four-leggeds” who make a marked difference in young people’s lives and the humans who train and care for these animals.
“Take a break from the holiday madness to come out and meet some special animals with the talent and temperament for working with people in need,” says Tom Connelly, general manager of the Beans Subaru dealership. “This is an opportunity to learn how animals are uniquely suited to engaging those of all ages and helping them develop important relationships that expand their lives significantly.”
Presentations starting at 5:30pm include Mark Zebrowski and his five therapy Labrador retrievers, David Parnes and Billie the Therapy Dog, Special Equestrians equine therapy in Warrington and special guest Vicki West, director of The Nexus School.
