'Armed And Dangerous' Suspect Sought In Abington
Abington Police are warning residents to remain vigilant after a search for the suspect in the township came up empty Tuesday.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington Township Police Department is warning residents to remain vigilant regarding an armed and dangerous suspect they were seeking without success.
Abington Police said that after a thorough search, they were unable to locate the suspect and it is believed that he is no longer in the area.
Abington and Upper Moreland Police were searching for a wanted male suspect who fled from a car stop in the area of Woodlawn Avenue, which is north of Moreland Road, bordering the township's Overlook neighborhood, police said.

Police said the suspect, last seen wearing a matching tracksuit, is considered armed and dangerous.
Abington Police provided a picture of the suspect, but not his name, a description, or why he was being sought.

"We urge residents in this area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity," police said.
Anyone who encounters the suspect should not try to approach or confront him.
