Armed Robbery At Abington 7-Eleven Ends With Guilty Plea

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man admitted to robbing an Abington Township convenience store with a firearm in June 2023.

Darryl C. Brothers, 35, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to two felony crimes, robbery and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, in court earlier this month.

The charges stem from a June, 29, 2023 incident in Abington.

According to Main Line Media News, Brothers went into the 7-Eleven on Old York Road that night and pointed a handgun at an employee while demanding cash from the register.

He made off with $100, the outlet reports.
