'All Clear' Given At Cheltenham HS After Bomb Threat

Breaking: The "all clear" was given at Cheltenham High School Wednesday after school grounds were thoroughly searched.

CHELTENHAM, PA -- For the second day in a row, a bomb threat was called in to Cheltenham High School, the district confirmed.

The threat was made to both the high school and Cedarbrook Central Middle School via a 911 call, officials said.

The "all clear" was given at shortly before 1 p.m. after school grounds were thoroughly searched, school officials said.

Both schools were locked down, but the lockdown was lifted and classes resumed in the early afternoon.

Cheltenham was evacuated and ultimately dismissed yesterday morning after another bomb threat. An investigation cleared the building by mid-afternoon, and students were allowed to retrieve their belongings between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

No arrests have been made. It's not clear yet if there are any suspects.

Parents are asked not to come to the high school.
