Needed: Your Discarded Recycling Bins

Recycle your old recycling bins to a project that needs them!

Parents at Glenside Elementary School actively seek to strengthen their recycling program that had been somewhat disrupted during the logistics of the school’s reconstruction.  A big push is underway to capture more of the used paper that is currently going into the waste stream but can instead be recycled.

Glenside school families are currently collecting discarded recycling bins to better implement recycling in the classrooms.  As municipalities move to automated recycling with specialized carts, the smaller, rectangular bins are no longer used.
