It was no mirage. Last Sunday afternoon, May 8, they were driving southwest on Rices Mill Road and took a left onto Deaver Road in Wyncote. If we were not already late to a barbecue, I’d have insisted on following them for an article. Had they not turned off from the direction in which we were headed, I’d have been able to successfully grab my camera in time to share this sight with you.
The they of this sight consisted of a male person seated in some kind of cart, flanked by two large, strong canines of some sort. Maybe huskies. The dogs were supplying the gas.
It was a vehicle of the past and of the future.
