Bradfield Road Closing This Weekend In Abington For SEPTA Work

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — SEPTA rail improvement work will affect traffic on Bradfield Road in Abington Township this weekend, PennDOT said.

Bradfield Road will be closed from 9 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Monday, June 12 due to the SEPTA work.

The affected portion of road is between Edge Hill and Susquehanna roads.

During the closure, northbound motorists will be directed to use Edge Hill Road, Easton Road, and Susquehanna Road.

Southbound motorists will be directed to Susquehanna Road, Easton Road, and Edge Hill Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
