Burglary Attempt At Abington Home Monday Evening: Police

Abington Township Police said someone tried to pry open a window of a township home to get inside it in the early evening Monday.

ABINGTON, PA — Police in Abington Township are alerting the public to an attempted home break in.

According to police, the incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. Monday at a home on the 2100 block of Old Welsh Road.

Police said someone tried to pry one of the home's windows open to get inside it.

Anyone with information on the attempted burglary is asked to Detective Phil Geliebter at 267-536-1112.

Police said residents should keep an eye out for suspicious activity and to call 911 if they see anything.
