About Us
When your child is diagnosed with a learning disability, we know that it can be overwhelming, confusing, and stressful for you and your child. You’re thinking, “What can I do? Where can my child receive support?” For over 35 years, Center School has been answering these questions for thousands of families just like you.
As you begin this difficult journey of finding a new educational environment for your child who has been diagnosed with a language-based learning disability and/or ADHD, we want you to know that you’ve come to the right place.
With a faculty who boasts over 150 years of teaching experience in supporting students with learning disabilities. With over three hours of literacy instruction in a day, our students make an average of two years of reading growth in a year as a result of our literacy-intensive programming.
Class sizes are small by design, typically with no more than eight students. This allows us to provide personalized instruction to each student. Throughout the school year, we regularly monitor your child's progress, ensuring your child is on the right track to success.
We believe that social and emotional growth is as important as academic growth. Our comprehensive social and emotional learning curriculum focuses on the whole child, helping our students to identify their strengths in order to leverage their challenges, thus leading to great success.
As you review our website, we hope you feel more at ease that you have found the right place for your child. Of course, the best way to experience Center School and learn more about our programming is to visit our campus and meet us in person. We look forward to meeting you and your child and showing you the Center School difference.
