Celebrate the illuminating energy of the Hunter’s Moon with a special evening of movement, reflection, and stillness.
The Hunter’s Moon marks a time of gathering, preparation, and turning inward as nature transitions into the quieter season. This special Full Moon experience invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and honor what you’re ready to release as you make space for what’s next.
We’ll begin with a gentle Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar)—a grounding, flowing practice designed to cultivate calm, balance, and connection—before settling into a guided Full Moon Meditation and time for quiet reflection.
Come as you are and allow yourself to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your inner rhythm. Leave feeling grounded, renewed, and connected to yourself and the energy of the season.
All levels welcome. No yoga experience necessary.
🌕 Move with the moon. 🍂 Release what no longer serves you. ✨ Gather your energy and make space for what’s next.

Abington Friends Cemetery

We travel to the area’s oldest religious institution – Abington Friends’ Meeting – that was organized in 1693 in Cheltenham at the home of Richard Wall (his Wall House still stands on Church Road). The meeting moved to Abington in 1697 after receiving a gift of land from John Barnes. The first meeting house was completed by 1700. A later structure, which still stands, was built in 1786 with an addition in 1797 (as pictured above).

We will have an opportunity to see the meetinghouse before proceeding outside for a tour of the cemetery. The church cemetery contains the graves of many people who are important in the history of this region, including many of the area’s original families. Among the family names of note are Jenkins, Mather, Hallowell, Lippincott, Jarrett, Walton, Bosler, Heacock, Shoemaker, Lukens, Cadwalader, Knight and Tyson.

We will meet at 2:00 p.m. at the meetinghouse and the tour should be concluded by 4:00 p.m.
Light refreshments will also be served. Come along and bring your friends.
When: Sunday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m.
Where: 520 Meetinghouse Road with entry on Greenwood Avenue
