Celebrate the wonder that is chocolate mint
There's a day for everything ... and Feb. 19 is Chocolate Mint Day
Did you need a reason to eat Thin Mint Cookies today? Everyone needs to know that today is Chocolate Mint Day! For me, that is a fine excuse to eat more Girl Scout cookies. Now, how many sleeves should I eat?
That’s not the only scrumptious chocolate mint cookie in town, of course. No doubt trying to cash in on the staggering profits made these past weeks, Nabisco threw its hat in the ring. The company started a few months earlier with milk chocolate-covered Mint Oreo cookie. And yes, they are out of this world. The creamy white filling in-between two crunchy cookies drowned in chocolate mint fudge … I’m drooling.
I have some bad news for all of you chocolate mint lovers out there. These were sold over the holiday season as “Limited Edition” cookies, so they are likely impossible to find these days. If you spot a location selling them, please add it to the comments below!

Have no fear. Nabisco is still in the game and us chocolate mint lovers are still in luck. The highly intelligent group over at Nabisco is currently selling Mint Oreo Cookies with one crunchy cookie, creamy white filling and chocolate mint fudge. It may not be as delectable as the Limited Edition Mint Oreo Cookie, but worth every calorie and every gram of fat.
You can find these delectable munchies at your local grocery hot spots.
