Celebrating ESP Day in our schools
Educational Support Professionals supporting public school students everyday-Celebrate them on November 16th, ESP Day!
On November 16, we celebrate National Educational Support Professionals Day-a day to acknowledge public school support staff and to honor their contribution to the education of our students.
ESPs are a vital link between parents/guardians, their students, and teaching staff. They work hard everyday to safely transport kids to school, feed them healthy breakfasts and lunches, help out on the playground and in the classroom, help students get organized, maintain school records, field parent phone calls, lend an ear or a hand, and serve as positive role models. In fact, very often ESPs can be the very first and last people your students encounter each and every school day.
Parents, guardians, and community members, take the time to visit our public schools during American Education Week Events or become involved in your local PTO/PTA and volunteer. Make a difference in our kids lives and while there, see firsthand the essential partners ESPs are in the educational process.

On November 16, send a card or take the time to thank these hardworking folks. I'm proud to work amongst these professionals, making a difference in the lives of our children.
