Center School students meet Holocaust Survivor

Middle school students at Center School had the opportunity to participate in the Witness to History- Survivor Presentation. This program is sponsored by the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center in Northeast Philadelphia. (http://www.hamec.org/)

Students were provided with the opportunity to meet with and listen to the testimony of Mr. David Tuck, a Holocaust Survivor. He shared his experiences as a concentration camp victim and his subsequent liberation by US led forces. Students were able to engage in meaningful conversation with Mr. Tuck and ask questions about his experiences.

We are grateful to have had the chance for students to participate in such a meaningful program and thank Mr. Tuck for his sacrifices.

Center School is a K-8 school located in Abington and has over 28 years of success in educating students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and executive function disorder. Center School’s mission is to provide children who learn differently with a personalized education to realize their potential and reshape the way they view themselves and their future.
