Chimney Fire Fought At Huntingdon Valley Home

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Multiple fire crews from eastern Montgomery County battled a chimney fire at a home on Sunday night.

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company and Fetters Mill Fire Rescue responded to the fire at an unmentioned location just after 7 p.m. on Sunday, fire officials said. The Abington Township Fire Department, Bryn Athyn Fire Company, and the Rockledge Fire Company assisted, fire officials said.

Fire crews operated for just over two hours to ensure the chimney was completely extinguished, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
