Comcast Xfinity Prices Going Up, Report Says

Comcast is increasing prices for Xfinity customers in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Prices are expected to go up an average of 4 percent on Jan. 1, the Inquirer reported.

The company will reportedly begin letting customers know of the increases as early as Friday.

The increases are not across the board, the Inquirer reports, but will increase based on package levels.

Comcast, headquartered in Philadelphia, provides cable, internet and digital phone service to the region.
