Abington Middle School's Future Seeks Public Input
The Abington School District is seeking options for what to do with the school. An online survey is open through Monday.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington School District is once again seeking feedback from residents of Abington Township and the Borough of Rockledge on several proposed options for the future of Abington Middle School through a new online community survey.

“We value the perspectives of everyone in the Abington and Rockledge community, and we encourage all residents to share their feedback on the future of the Middle School,” Schools Superintendent Jeffrey Fecher said. "Your input helps us make informed choices that serve the best interests of our students, staff, and the entire community."

All responses are anonymous.
Residents can request a paper survey by emailing cr@abington.k12.pa.us, or they can pick one up at either the District Administration Building or Abington Township Public Library.

The online survey is being conducted alongside a scientific telephone survey representative of the population of Abington Township and the Borough of Rockledge.
The results of both surveys will be critical in shaping decisions about Abington Middle School and other facilities planning.
In addition to the new community survey, the district has developed a tax calculator to help property owners estimate the tax impact of the proposed options for Abington Middle School.
