Crews Battle Fire At Roslyn Home

ROSLYN, PA —Ten eastern Montgomery County fire companies helped get a house fire under control Monday night in the borough.

The Roslyn Fire Company said that fire crews responded at 9:15 p.m. Monday to a house fire in the 1500 block of Saint James Place.

Fire officials said a swift response by firefighters and neighboring fire companies helped get the fire under control quickly.

Fire officials did not report how much damage the house sustained or whether there were any injuries.

Among those fire companies assisting were the: McKinley Fire Company, Weldon Fire Company, Abington Fire Company, Edge Hill Fire Company, Upper Moreland Fire Department, Glenside Fire Company, Pioneer Fire Company #1, Wynmore Fire Department, and Horsham Fire Company.
