The Abington Free Library Children’s Department presents “Dance as a Celebration of Daily Life”
For homeschoolers in grades 1-6
Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 1:30-2:30pm
Through discussion, demonstration and audience participation, presenter Barbara Siegel “Habiba” from The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, will explain the dances and movement styles of the Fellahin, Bedouin, and Nubian peoples of Egypt. The character and the essence of these peoples will also be explored.
Space is limited.
Registration will begin Tuesday, October 28.
