DUI Checkpoint Coming To Eastern Montgomery County This Weekend
A DUI checkpoint and roving enforcement patrols will take place this coming weekend in Abington Township.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers are being warned of an upcoming DUI checkpoint this weekend in Abington Township.
Officials announced that members of the Eastern Montgomery County DUI Task Force will be conducting sobriety checkpoint operations and roving DUI enforcement patrols in Abington throughout the weekend.
Officers at the scene will be looking for impaired motorists and enforcing other motor vehicle code violations.

The task force is made up of members of various eastern Montgomery County police agencies. They include police departments from the following communities:
- Abington Township
- Cheltenham Township
- Jenkintown Borough
- Lower Moreland Township
- Upper Gwynedd Township
- Springfield Township
- Upper Dublin Township
- Upper Moreland Township
- Whitemarsh Township
