Easton Road Aqua PA Project Underway, Will Last Through Year's End

Aqua Pennsylvania crews are working on a project along a portion of Easton Road in Abington Township, forcing weekday closures.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania work on Easton Road in Abington is underway, and work is expected to last through the year.

According to the township, work will occur weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Old Welsh Road and Hamilton Avenue.

Flaggers will be at both ends of the work zone to allow access to residences and business, but through traffic will not be permitted.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Old Welsh, Fitzwatertown, and Susquehanna roads.

Officials said the work is expected to wrap up around Dec. 31.
