Edge Hill Road Closing Next Week In Abington Township

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — An Abington Township road will be closed completely next week, but for just one day, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said a portion of Edge Hill Road will be closed for tree removal work on Aug. 17.

The road will be closed between Tyson and Ardlsey avenues.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Tyson Avenue, Ardsley Avenue, and Edge Hill Road.

Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
