Abington YMCA Gobble Wobble

Abington YMCA will sponsor the Ninth Annual Gobble Wobble 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk on Nov. 24.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the race kicks off at 9 a.m.

The race features automated chip timing on a USATF certified course, with stadium finish. Winners will be chosen from many age groups.

Abington YMCA Gobble Wobble 5K Run 2011 Gobble Wobble 5K Bring your friends and family for this Thanksgiving Day tradition!


The ninth annual 5K Run and 2 mile walk is a great way to enjoy family fun and fitness on a day normally devoted to eating large quantities of food!
The race features:

Automated Chip timing - your time is recorded from the time your cross the start line until you cross the finish line.

  • USATF certified course
  • Stadium Finish
  • Long sleeve t-shirt (while they last)
  • Register before Nov. 1 for a guaranteed shirt
  • Free raffle for all
  • Many age group winners (in 5 year increments)
  • Fabulous post race refreshments

$25 Adults, $12 Children age 12 and under
On-line or mail in or drop off at the Y

3 or more, $22 adults/$10 youth
10 or more, $20 adults/$10 youth

Race Day

$30 Adults, $12 children age 12 and under

Packet pick up at the Y Nov.23 and 24 at the Y from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. or on Race Day
