Elected officials will discuss the recently passed bond in Abington, flood mitigation efforts, PECO infrastructure problems, sound concerns with generators and billboard litigation. Officials who have agreed to speak include:

This event is presented by Rydal-Meadowbrook Civic Association and will also feature Sandi Donato, who is successfully fighting billboards throughout the Delaware Valley. Recently, Haverford's Zoning Board voted against billboards: http://www.rydal-meadowbrook.org/billboards-haverford-says-no.

The event is also co-hosted by Abington Township Environmental Advisory Council. EAC Chairperson Jennifer Sherwood will present a brief show and tell on rain barrels and how they can offset rains and provide a source of water for one's gardens. ORDER ONE HERE >

EAC councill member Cakky Evans will introduce the opportunity to obtain an energy audit at one's home.

Please bring the kids! There will be light refreshments and a supervised children's area. Briar Bush volunteers will also be there at a nature area for kids.
