Parents of eighth-grade students are invited to attend a course-planning informational session, March 7 at 6 p.m., in the junior high library.
As students move to the high school, it is important to ensure their schedules reflect their future goals and plans. The curriculum will be presented from ninth through 12th grade, focusing on core subjects, honors courses and the college preparatory program. Each grade has different requirements necessary to move onto the next, so parents will learn the importance of this, in addition to the importance of being a well-rounded student with a variety of elective courses offered.
