Abington Library will host Keeping a Writer's Journal: From Sue Grafton to Virginia Woolf, Thursdays, March 15 through April 5, at 7 p.m.
This workshop is designed for writers of all levels. Look at excerpts from the journals of poets, as well as fiction and non-fiction writers, examining the strategies they use. Discover your own never-thought-I-could-write-like-this kind of writing.
Over six weeks, you'll look at other writers' work, and their journals, then delve into the task of beginning to keep your own journals, working together to develop some of what you observe and record into actual poems, stories and essays.
