Ujima Life Services is a community-rooted mental health and wellness practice based in Cheltenham, PA. The name Ujima comes from a Swahili principle meaning collective work and responsibility, reflecting the belief that individual well-being and community well-being are deeply connected. Ujima Life Services provides individual, couples, and group counseling for adolescents and adults, along with non-clinical wellness groups and educational offerings facilitated by licensed clinicians. Services are grounded in evidence-based mental health care while honoring the whole person—mind, body, relationships, and environment. In addition to therapy services, Ujima offers community wellness groups and workshops focused on stress reduction, emotional resilience, life transitions, and personal growth. These offerings are designed to create accessible, supportive spaces for reflection and connection. While these groups are not therapy, they are guided by mental health professionals committed to ethical, compassionate care. Ujima Life Services also partners with local organizations and community spaces to provide outreach, education, and therapeutic horticulture programming. On Sunday, September 16th at 4:00, there will be a dedication recital for the Steinway Baby Grand Piano, given by Maralyn Bryan in honor of her husband, and former MInister of Music at St. Peter's, Jim Bryan. The recital will feature many talented musicians from the parish on a program that includes art songs, sacred music, solo piano music, and jazz. Admission is free; a reception will follow in the parish hall.

Welcome to Jenkintown’s 34th Annual Sunset 5K Run. Enjoy our 
beautiful neighborhoods, and celebrate afterwards on our town square.
Are you ready to run the Summit? This challenging tree lined 5k 
course winds it’s way through the borough of Jenkintown without crossing
 Old York Rd. One of the largest evening 5K runs around. Come on out 
and join us! Live Music, food and prizes for all age groups.
Run Benefits : The Kiwanis Foundation of Jenkintown.
Kids Dash is for ages 6 and under, and no registration is required. All children will receive a prize.
Open Team Registration: Teams of 4 are encourage to participate, but you can have more on your team and are encouraged to do so.
The run will be held, rain or shine.
Starting Line:
The race 
starts and ends on Leedom St by the Town Square. The Kids Dash starts 
at 6:35PM, Runners start at 7:00PM. We are doing corral starts this 
year.The corrals will be as follow: Under 7 minutes, 7-9minutes, 
9-11minutes, and Over 11 minutes.
Registration Fees:
 Early Registration: $30 (1/1-1/31) Pre- Registration: $35 (2/1- 4/14) Late registration: $40 (4/15-5/24) Team Early Registration: $27 per person (1/2-1/31) must have a minimum of 4 people per team. Team Pre- Registration: $32 per person (2/1-4/14)- must have a minimum of 4 people per team. Team Late registration: $37 per person (4/15-5/24)- must have a minimum of 4 people per team. “Day of Race” Registration, $40 (online from 5/25-6/2 at 12AM) Child- 10 and under, $20 Early Registration (online from 1/1-1/31) Child-10 and under, $25 Registration (2/1-5/24) Child -10 and under “Day of Race” Registration, $25 (online from 5/25-6/2) Kids Dash 6 and under, free (no registration required) No “Day of Race” Team Registration Allowed Teams: top four times count
The Route:

All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt while supplies last!
For those who sign up online by 5/24, you may pick up your race 
packet at Jenkintown Running Co, 416 Old York Rd, during business hours 
between May 30- June 1. For those who sign up online on or after 
5/25: On June 2nd, race day, you may pick up your packet at our 
pre-registration check-in table starting at 5:00pm.
