HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA —A faulty HVAC unit is to blame for an early Monday morning house fire, fire officials said.

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company was dispatched at 1:21 a.m. Monday for a house fire on Manor Road where the owner reported smoke.

The fire chief set up command as crews checked the house.

Upon further investigation, fire crews determined that the smoke was caused by a faulty HVAC unit.

Units on scene included Engine 8, Squad 8, Engine 11, Bucks Ladder 1, Bucks Ladder 2. Bucks Rescue 4.
