First Responders Hosting Food Drive At 2 Abington Twp Giant Stores

The community is invited to help fill first responder vehicles with non-perishable foods and personal hygeine items next weekend.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — First responders from Abington Township are inviting community members to support a food drive next week.

The First Responders Food Drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at the Giant grocery stores in Roslyn and Huntingdon Valley.

The community is asked to help fill first responder vehicles with donated items.

Items sought for donation are non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items.

Donated items will be distributed to food cupboards and pantries in Abington Township.

The Roslyn Giant is located at 2350 Susquehanna Road in Roslyn, and the Huntingdon Valley Giant is at 737 Huntingdon Pike in Huntingdon Valley.
