FRAGILE FREEDOM - A Journery to the 19th Amendment

Historical Society of Montgomery County presents a free, public program, Sunday, September 20, 2015, 2:30 PM

Using a combination of lecture, poems, and monologues about the women and men who fought for the 19th Amendment which secured women’s right to vote, playwright Christine Emmert takes a personal look at the fight for voting equality.

Christine Emmert is an actress, playwright, director and educator. As a member of the Outreach Program for Hopewell Furnace National Park she both writes and acts.

The HIstorical Society, located at 1564 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA, is handicapped accessible.
