Fred Beans Buys 4 Car Dealerships In Abington

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Fred Beans Automotive Group has purchased four dealerships and one collision center from Rosenthal Automotive.

Abington Collision Center, Acura of Abington, Honda of Abington, Hyundai of Abington, and Mazda of Abington now bear the Fred Beans name, as of last Tuesday.

Company leadership says complete rebranding means implementing the processes and values that are standard across all Fred Beans operations.

“Although we have much to do in terms of reconfiguring spaces, evaluating resources, and building and training teams, we are ready —on day one —to deliver on the promise that we put customers first,” Founder and CEO Fred Beans said. “That commitment to exceptional customer service is the foundation of our business.”

Beans' newest acquisition adds three new brands —Acura, Honda and Mazda —to the Fred Beans inventory.

The Fred Beans Automotive Group now encompasses 27 dealerships with thousands of new and used vehicles spanning 20 different brands.

Also under the Fred Beans umbrella are seven CARSTAR collision centers, two AutoExpress quick-service locations, four AutoRent locations, commercial truck sale,s and the largest dealer-owned parts operation in the country.

“Our growth in the Abington market means an even bigger selection of vehicles and another CARSTAR collision center for our Fred Beans customers,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “It also gives us the opportunity to expand our customer base and membership in our customer loyalty program, the AutoRewards Club.”

Through the Fred Beans AutoRewards Club, customers earn points on every dollar spent with Beans. Points can be used to pay $250 toward a collision deductible or $2,000 toward the purchase of a new vehicle.

Beyond points, AutoRewards membership also provides exclusive benefits like free first oil changes, state inspections, towing reimbursement to Fred Beans service centers, and more. Other perks include access to special events, and discounts and specials at more than 200 area merchants.

The Abington Collision Center, located inside the Honda dealership, is transitioning to Fred Beans CARSTAR, which provides quality collision services at the hands of I-CAR certified technicians.

The CARSTAR team combines quality with convenience by providing customers with free estimates and working directly with insurance companies.
