Free Books, Rita's Water Ice At Abington Township Library Aug 31
The Abington Township Library's "Rit-a Book Day" will feature free Rita's water ice and free books for children at the end of August.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Aug. 31 is National Read a Book Day, and the Abington Township Library is inviting the public to celebrate with free books and free Rita's water ice.
The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31 at the library.
Those interested in donating books to the event can drop them off in the box in the lobby of the Abington Township Police Station, 1166 Old York Road in Abington.
