Why go: Bowling for Bear, a bowl-a-thon sponsored by Upper Moreland High School Interact, Key Club and Student Council, will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in memory of Steve “Bear” Schwartz.

Why go: Come learn about the more than 30 animals who call Briar Bush’s museum home: rabbits and rats, skinks and snakes, chinchillas and tarantulas, oh my!

Why go: “I Am Special” Family Day is designed for families with children who have special needs. Family Day will be chock full of themed events and appropriate activities. Registration required.

Why go: Kids, wear your pajamas to the library! And don’t forget to bring a stuffed animal to cuddle. The party is for ages 3 to 6. Register at the library.
