The victim threw his keys onto the ground at which point the victim heard a single gunshot.

The victim, who is properly licensed to carry a firearm, drew his own handgun and fired a series of gunshots at the suspect, who then fled on foot.

A Cheltenham Police K9 team quickly located the suspect a short distance away, and he was taken into custody. Neither the victim or the suspect were struck by gunfire.

Evidence including a ski mask and the handgun used by the suspect during the robbery was recovered.

The suspect's handgun was loaded with an extended magazine containing 26 live rounds of ammunition.

An investigation determined that the resident of the address where the DoorDash order was being delivered had not placed the order.

The case remains under investigation by Cheltenham Detectives.
