Guns, Drugs Confiscated After Wyncote Wawa Theft
Cheltenham Police stopped a car that contained seven people on Sunday morning on Limekiln Pike.
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A reported theft at the Wyncote Wawa netted police a stash of guns and drugs after they pulled over a car on Sunday morning.
The Cheltenham Township Police Department responded at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday to the Wawa store at 8250 Limekiln Pike in Wyncote for a report of a retail theft in progress.
Police stopped a white Nissan Sentra attempting to leave the store. The car contained seven people.

During the stop, police said one occupant attempted to hide a firearm under a seat.
The occupants, ranging in ages 15 to 21 (three of whom were juveniles), were taken into custody, police said.

Cheltenham Police impounded the car while a search warrant was obtained.
The vehicle search revealed three loaded handguns without serial numbers (commonly referred to as ‘ghost guns’), two of which had been illegally modified to fire fully automatic.
Police also found a large quantity of marijuana, vehicle key fob programming equipment, and various merchandise stolen from Wawa.
The case remains under investigation by Cheltenham Detectives.
