Holy Redeemer Pediatric UrgiCare Expands Hours

The Center is Open Noon to Midnight Daily, Year Round

The Holy Redeemer Pediatric UrgiCare Center, which treats all manner of pediatric injuries and infections, has expanded its hours as of July 1, 2017. The UrgiCare Center is now open daily noon to midnight. Previously it opened at 4 p.m. on weekdays, and noon on weekends.

“The Pediatric UrgiCare Center has proven its worth as a great resource for the community, providing immediate access to pediatric care and reducing emergency room visits,” said Dr. Avi Gurwitz, Pediatric UrgiCare director. “We expanded the UrgiCare’s hours to better serve our patients and the community.”

A reliable choice for after-hours care, Holy Redeemer Pediatric UrgiCare provides fast, non-emergency medical care when a family pediatrician is unavailable. Located adjacent to the Holy Redeemer Hospital Emergency Department, the UrgiCare includes on-site services such as labs and X-rays and a warm, pastel environment that puts youngsters at ease. Pediatric doctors refer to the Emergency Department in severe cases or true emergencies, and share diagnoses and treatment details to ensure continuity of care.
