Hurley's American Grille

Well wifie and I got a bit adventurous tonight and went to a restaurant recently featured on the Food Network's Restaurant Impossible. Previously named Edible's and now called "Hurley's American Grille". Located on Horsham Road in the Hatboro-Horsham area. First of all they were very kind in turning the crab cake sandwich into a platter by eliminating the french fries and giving Mary Ann a baked potato and grilled asparagus. She loved it!!!! I went the burger route and had a bacon bleu which is served with bacon, bleu cheese sauce, arugula, and tomato. I went for a baked potato instead of the fries because of my attempt to keep up my svelte figure. (Did the butter and sour cream throw that idea out the window? lol) They do have a liquor license and a really nice bar if you have to wait for a table. Now granted that Mary Ann and I don't drink (okay I lied. I'll have the occasional glass of cabernet or a Corona) but after gratuity we walked out full, satisfied, and the food was very good for $30.00. It was actually cool to see the work done by Robert Irvine and the transformation that you saw on the show. I would definitely give this restaurant a thumbs up.
