Authorities found Schubert on the ground outside of her silver Nissan Murano, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at Abington Hospital, authorities said.
The SEPTA driver told detectives that he was driving southbound on Huntington Pike when he approached a vehicle that was stopped on the roadway. He reported that he heard two or three “pops” and saw a man exit the front passenger seat, then open the driver’s side door. The woman fell out of the vehicle, authorities said.
