Infusion Center of Pennsylvania Names New Medical Director

Robert Singh, M.D., respected vascular surgeon, brings expertise to Jenkintown location

Robert Singh, M.D., a board-certified vascular surgeon, has joined the Infusion Center of Pennsylvania, LLC (ICPA) as Medical Director of its new Jenkintown location. With more than 15 years of expertise, Dr. Singh will oversee the clinical functions at the state-of-the-art, ambulatory infusion center. He has served as an advisor to ICPA since the company’s founding.

Dr. Singh most recently was Medical Director of Vein Clinics of American, first in Exton, Pennsylvania, and then in Philadelphia. Prior to that position, he was on the medical staff at St. Joseph Medical Center, the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and Reading Rehabilitation Hospital.

“As a vascular surgeon and pharmacist, Robert brings tremendous expertise to this position and will ensure the highest standards of care,” said Emma Singh, M.D., ICPA founder and owner. “As our Jenkintown location continues to grow, Robert’s expertise will allow ICPA to continue providing the highest level of care for patients who require regular intravenous medication.”

A Philadelphia resident. Dr. Singh earned his pharmacy degree from Rutgers University in 1992 and his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine, in 1997. He completed his training at Monmouth Medical Center and Geisinger Medical Center where he was board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery.

Dr. Singh has published frequently in surgical journals and is a regular presenter at the American College of Surgeons’ Clinical Congress. He is also a contributor to the definitive textbook on vascular ultrasonography.

ICPA’s Jenkintown location opened July 31, 2018 in Jenkintown Plaza, and combined with the flagship Royersford location, allows easy access for patients from Philadelphia, Lower Bucks County, Montgomery County, Lancaster, Reading, the Lehigh Valley, Southwestern New Jersey, and Delaware. It is the only ambulatory infusion center in southeastern Pennsylvania with a medical doctor and pharmacist on staff and open 365 days a year.

Dr. Emma Singh will continue her role as Medical Director of ICPA’s Royersford location.

About ICPA

The Infusion Center of Pennsylvania (ICPA) is an independent, multi-specialty, ambulatory medical facility that provides treatment to patients who have been prescribed intravenous medication, including antibiotics. ICPA is 100 percent woman owned by a Philadelphia-area physician and pharmacist. It is the only infusion center in Southeastern Pennsylvania open seven days a week, including all weekend and holidays, and the only center with a medical doctor on staff, which is necessary to treat Medicare patients. It has locations in Royersford and Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
