Int'l Sorority Brings “Finer Womanhood” To Abington Township

Newly-Established Abington Township Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Hosts "Open House Reception" for Abington Community Orgs

Gamma Alpha Beta Zeta Chapter is hosting a Finer Womanhood Open House Reception, a grassroots community reception in observance of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated’s “Finer Womanhood Month.”

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a 98-year old “Community Conscious, Action-Oriented Organization” dedicated to the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. “Finer Womanhood” represents character, integrity and perseverance. During the last full week in February and the entire month of March, the sorority observes “Finer Womanhood Month” and all chapters are charged with reflecting on how they can be of better service to their communities and around the world. The newly established Gamma Alpha Beta Zeta Chapter is holding this “Open House Reception” to hear more about Abington Township’s priorities and needs, while also explaining how the sorority’s programs, partnerships, and other resources can be leveraged to effect change and make an indelible difference in Abington Township.

The invitation-only reception is scheduled from 2-5 PM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Glenside United Church of Christ, 2160 Wharton Road, Glenside, PA 19038.
