What are three main issues you plan to take on in office?
-Improving Communication from Township regarding major initiatives using multi-media and

-Increasing traffic safety along Limekiln Pike business corridor
-Increasing traffic safety along Jenkintown Rd.
-Bringing the North Hills community together both in person and virtually more frequently for
town halls & community events
Who are elected official or political/community leaders who inspire you?
The late John Lewis will always be a major inspirational leader for me. My father, who also
served as a school board director in Cheltenham and was the first African American School
Board President in Cheltenham is also a great inspiration for me.
What are some other personal information details you want voters to know about you ahead of the election?
My faith tradition is formative for my calling to serve the community. In my religion, I read the book of Matthew in the 22nd chapter and 36th verse to mean that loving my neighbor is as important as my love for God. I believe that if I am to truly love my neighbor, that love must be put into action by serving the community. In North Hills, we have different kinds of neighbors: people who own their home AND people who rent their home. We have small business owners who are also our neighbors. It’s my goal to serve ALL of the people of North Hills, and I hope to be able to have the privilege of continuing to serve the community as Commissioner.
