Jenkintown, Abington Among Best PA Suburbs, According To Niche
Be proud of your home! Niche.com thinks that Jenkintown is among the best suburbs in the entire state.
ABINGTON, PA -- Niche.com has released its latest ranking of the best suburbs in Pennsylvania, and the Abington area fared quite well.
Niche's rankings are based on "location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area."
Jenkintown placed 12th overall on the list. Abington itself, meanwhile, placed 74th. Glenside placed 33rd, and Cheltenham was 77th. Other nearby rankings included Montgomery Township (17), Jenkintown (12), Whitemarsh (20), Upper Gwynedd (41), Lansdale (68), and Towamencin (65).

Chesterbrook and Tredyffrin led the state at first and second, while Narberth led Montgomery County in third overall.
