June Fete Fair Starts Friday In Huntingdon Valley

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — The annual June Fete Fair will continue its over 100-year tradition this weekend.

The event — which includes a Horse & Pony Show — runs from Friday through Sunday at the fairgrounds at 2990 Edge Hill Road.

Held all day on Saturday, the Horse & Pony show features fun competition for local equestrians of all ages.

The fair returned last year after it was cancelled in 2024 for safety reasons. That broke a 111-year consecutive streak of continuous fairs.

The Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board runs the event, with funds raised supporting the Durham Fund for Nurse Wellness at Jefferson Abington Hospital.

Gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

The family oriented, community-wide event features amusement rides, carnival games, live entertainment, delicious festival foods and treats, and vendors.

The fair has taken place in Montgomery County since 1913.

The turnout in 2023 was nearly 20,000 people. That year, the fair raised $107,000 to support Jefferson Abington Hospital.

Admission Details

• $5 per person. Ages 6 and under admitted free. Jefferson employees admitted free (must show badge)
• Free parking (those needing handicapped parking should follow signs for J Gate)
• Credit cards may be used for admission, amusement rides, and select booths with a minimum purchase. All other booths and activities are cash only. ATM available on fairgrounds.

The June Fete is a non-smoking event.
