KID FEST with Trinidelphia

Featuring
Trinidelphia - has grown to become Philadelphia’s preeminent Caribbean
music ensemble. Fronted by multi-instrumentalist Chris Aschman
(Steelpan, trumpet), the group’s mission is to combine the steel drum
art form of Trinidad and Tobago with American Jazz and Funk, Jamaican
Reggae and Ska, and other musical forms. This combination of styles
results in some exciting performances that call upon the member’s unique
chemistry and musical backgrounds, resulting in a sound that is festive
and funky, yet intellectual and personal.
