Lane Closure To Impact Abington Traffic Through Fall 2024
A lane will close on Greenwood Avenue/Jenkintown Road in Abington Township from early December through early October 2024.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT said trail construction on Greenwood Avenue/Jenkintown Road in Abington will start in early December and last through fall 2024.
According to PennDOT, work will begin Monday, Dec. 4 and last through Friday, Oct. 4.
Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

The work will force a lane closure on Greenwood Avenue/Jenkintown Road between Washington Lane and Meetinghouse Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
