Lane Closures in Montgomery County Set for Next Week, PennDot Announces

Lane closures on six state highways will affect traffic over the next week throughout Montgomery County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Friday that lane restrictions are scheduled on six state highways in the Philadelphia region over the coming week.

Weather permitting, the resurfacing schedule will include the following projects:

• On Wednesday, September 7, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on High Street between Grosstown Road and Jay Street in West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

• On Tuesday, September 6, from 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Route 724 between the Berks County line and Whartnaby Street in North Coventry Township, Chester County

• On Tuesday, September 6, and Wednesday, September 7, from 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Waterloo Road between Newtown Road and Conestoga Road in Easttown Township, Chester County, for milling

• On Thursday, September 8, and Friday, September 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, for asphalt paving adjustments

• On Thursday, September 8, and Friday, September 9, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Baltimore Pike and Greenwood Road in Kennett and East Marlborough townships, Chester County, for milling

• On Thursday, September 8, and Friday, September 9, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Route 113 between Nutt Road and the Montgomery County line in Phoenixville Borough and Schuylkill Township, Chester County, for resurfacing and from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for inlet repairs
