'Large Police Presence' Near Abington Hospital

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Authorities warn residents to avoid a section of the township Monday morning due to a police presence.

The Abington Township Police Department said there is a "large police presence" at the 1900 block of Horace Avenue.

The road is between the municipal building and Abington Hospital.

Police did not say why so many police were in the area.

Police said residents and motorists should avoid the area if possible, police said.
