Armed Domestic Disturbance Ends Peacefully In Roslyn: Abington Police

Abington Police said no charges were filed after they responded to a domestic disturbance involving a person armed with a rifle Wednesday.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — An incident involving an armed person ended peacefully and without charges being filed in Abington Township Wednesday.

According to Abington Police, officers were called to the 2400 block of Radcliffe Road in Roslyn for a domestic disturbance at about 2:50 p.m.

Police said one person involved in the incident was reportedly armed with a rifle and was non-compliant with officers.

Police established a perimeter and evacuated nearby homes, but eventually made contact with the armed person.

Police did not say how the situation came to a peaceful end, but did say there is no danger to the community.
