Learn All Things Abington Police At 2023 Citizen's Police Academy​

Topics include SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), accident investigation, police K-9, use of force, CSI processing, and more.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Abington Township Police are inviting the community to join its 2023 Citizen's Police Academy.

The free academy will run for eight weeks, from March 8 through April 26.

Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Attendees will learn about the training, policies, and guiding principles of law enforcement and ethics that shape Abington Township Police Department.

Topics include SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), accident investigation, police K-9, use of force, CSI processing, and many other police functions.

All classes are taught by Abington officers and members of other agencies.

Residents of Abington and surrounding communities are eligible to attend.
