Jenkintown, PA…Nonprofit leaders seeking strategies for marketing their organizations on a budget will find creative ideas at a free May 6 workshop, 9 a.m. at the Hiway Theater, 212 Old York Road, Jenkintown.

Leza Raffel, president and founder of The Communication Solutions Group, will present “Your Attention Please: Promoting Your Nonprofit Organization through High-Visibility/Low-Cost Public Relations & Marketing.”

The 90-minute workshop will address the unique needs of nonprofit organization leaders who regularly balance membership recruitment, fundraising, marketing and publicity, along with their many other responsibilities.

“Executive directors of nonprofit organizations and charities have many responsibilities, and marketing tends to be the one that is the most challenging,” explains Communication Solutions President Raffel. “It is my goal to take the mystery out of marketing and public relations so that attendees can leave the workshop with a concrete plan that will work for their organization.”
