Local Applebee's Helps Raise Awareness of Hunger and Homelessness
Donates soup to benefit Heifer International and Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network
Jenkintown Applebee’s will be participating in Arcadia University’s 21st Annual Empty Bowl Dinner to help raise awareness of hunger and homelessness, both here and abroad.
Applebee’s will donate soup to the 850 participants to support this event, along with other local restaurants and bakeries that are participating.
Applebee’s invites its guests and neighbors to attend the event on Nov. 17 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $15 by calling 215-572-2160. All proceeds benefit Heifer International and Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, both of which assist the hungry and homeless.
